On Sunday, September 18th, Julie Shockley (Carole Sieber's assistant) was wed to Josh Gritton. When Julie returns from her honeymoon, will welcome Julie Gritton back to Lewes Realty.

Julie & Josh enjoyed a beautiful ceremony and reception along with family, friends, and co-workers.

Local Real Estate Broker Earns Senior Specialist Designation

Seniors who need advice about their homes and rental properties can turn to Carole Sieber, Owner / Broker of Lewes Realty located at 418 E. Savannah Rd., Lewes DE. Mrs. Sieber, who has been in the real estate business since 1989, was recently awarded the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) professional designation by the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council of Murphy California.

Senior Real Estate Specialists help seniors (people over age 55) make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property, managing the capital gains and estate tax implications of owning real estate, obtain a reverse mortgate, and other issues. By earning the SRES designation, Carole has demonstrated that she has the requisite knowledge, experience, and expertise to be a senior real estate specialist.

The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council (SAREC) tracks the special issues and needs of the senior property owner and provides education to REALTORS who make seniors an important focus of their business. Due to the earnest need our customers have conveyed to us, Lewes Realty now offers Property Management. We have been asked by several developments to meet with them and discuss ways that will help the property owners enjoy more freedom and security.

John (Jack) Sieber, husband to Carole Sieber of 35 years, has agreed to help oversee maintenance concerns. Jack has been a carpenter for over 30 years and has built homes, restaurants, motels, dormitories and historical renovations to State Buildings, museums, and much more.

Carolyn Turner will be an additional coordinator, to work with Monica Rhoades and Carole Sieber to coordinate workman when the officers or board members need our help. We are not replacing your board of officers. We will work with them for 3-6 month intervals to assess the needs for your community.

We are able to do as much or as little as you need, capable to meet your needs. We have an accounting department with 3 accountants (two are C.P.A.'s) working part-time. We have invested in new software that will make the process easier for all involved.
